This RGBW LED Par is one of the latest RGBW LED fixtures from Chauvet. It’s also a recent addition to our rental inventory, and is quickly proving to be a workhourse like its Tri Tour cousin.
The Quad Tour features a 4-color LED chipset, including red, green, blue, and white. Thanks to a brighter red LED, users can get a useful amber ( mix in some green with that vibrant red, maybe a bit of white depending on the hue you want). There’s also a noticeable difference in the blue LED when compared with the 1-Tri Tour: it’s a richer, more saturated hue.
Other differences include form-factor, data connections, and beam angle. The 1-Quad Tour is a bit longer than the 1-Tri Tour. Users will appreciate both 3-pin and 5-pin DMX inputs and outputs. The beam angle is a bit narrower at 11.5˚. Note that the 1-Quad Tour can be fitted with a Source Four Par lens, so widening the beam is easy (the fixture ships with an accessory frame, which is used to keep lenses in place).
